Strawberry Hemp Milk Popsicles
Call me biased, but summer always seems two months too short to me. With the gorgeous sunshine, outdoor picnics, swimming pools, long walks in the park, there's nothing about summer that you can find fault in. (OK, so maybe I am a tad bit biased!)
Sweet, milky, fruity popsicles that refresh you with each bite, are a summer staple we've all grown up with. So how about giving that summer classic a vegan, allergy-friendly makeover with fresh fruit and hemp milk? This 4-ingredient popsicle recipe is easy enough for you to make and healthy enough to gorge on, every day of the summer.
- 1 cup of Tempt Hemp Original Unsweetened Hemp Milk (substitute with Coconut Hemp Milk if you like)
- 2 cups of fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup (or honey, if not vegan)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Yields : 6 popsicles
Prep time: 10 mins Freezing time: 5 - 6 hours
BLEND - Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend till the strawberries break into tiny chunks. Blend longer, if you prefer a smoother consistency.
FREEZE - Pour out the blended mixture into popsicle molds and place in the freezer. Let sit for 5 to 6 hours at least.
ENJOY - Place the frozen popsicle molds in a tall bowl of hot water. Remove popsicles gently after 5 mins and slurp away!
